Dr Steve Abbadessa
I am a board certified proctologist, specializing in diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. That includes hemorrhoids, pain and bleeding, itching, and human papilloma virus of the penis, vagina and rectum.  I also do colonoscopies in the office with sedation or in a hospital setting. 

Most patients can be treated in the office quickly with minimum discomfort.  Commonly used techniques are infrared coagulation, rubber banding and sclerotherapy.  The vast majority of conditions can be treated without surgery. In my office we make every effort to see urgent cases immediately, or within 24 hours.
